Scholastic's Authors and Illustrators page has "biographies, interviews and study resources"


Perfection Learning has a page of links to authors' web sites.


The Gale Virtual Reference Library contains eBooks with biographies on authors, however most newer authors will not be included in them.


If none of the above resources work, try seaching Google to see if your author has their own website or use the search string "authors name" biography. This will work best if you include the author's full name. You can also check out the site for the author's/books' publisher to see if they have any biographical information on the author.
